I would make sure you get the full scoop from HR on all the in's and out's of your Plan related to loans.2) Hardship distribution: Normally in a 401k plan, you aren't allowed to withdraw money until you hit certain milestones (leave the employer, reach retirement age, death, etc.)

THAT is where money is created (and destroyed), not the mint.For some perspective on all this "doom and gloom" regarding our increasing money supply, look at this recent graph of the M-2 supply (used for forecasting inflation).As you can clearly see, the M-2 supply is growing in a nice steady linear fashion (gray area), not skyrocketing off the chart.

We're presently at 348,814 forum posts here on BiggerPockets . . . this milestone is another stepping stone for us (we're also approaching 75,000 members) and I'm definitely looking forward to passing it on our way to 400k.I've actually spent a fair amount of time lately going through and cleaning out some nasty spam that got past us on the main forums, but mostly on our group forums.
