There are certain individuals that are in your face selling their products/training and it has caused a negative reaction on Bigger Pockets if certain individuals were promoting Sub2.

They just don’t see enough of these deals to feel comfortable with them.That said, I’ve had more luck with smaller regional banks and credit unions.. especially those that cater to higher-net-worth individuals.

... as I own my RE portfolio via my single member LLC is there a process that I can setup wherein the event of my death that LLC passes to my designated individual along with the assets owned by my LLC? 

Conventional loan with a down payment from my individual income.

You can also just elect to refinance all the loans individually but with the same lender.
