Between February 2018 and February 2019, Atlanta had the largest employment gain, up nearly 18,000 or 3.5% compared to 2.6 percent nationwide, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. 

Columbus has the best appreciation statistics in the state. 3.5 Hour Drive from Detroit. 

This is a worldwide statistic.

(MSA is metropolitan statistical area - what the census bureau considers the economic unit of the area).The state doesn't matter, because some states have poor growth overall, but MSAs within the state are healthy.

Again I have not yet invested in the area and these statistics are just from what I’ve looked into so far.

Also, statistically speaking, lower-income housing can have higher vacancy and higher turn costs due to damage and evictions.

Using this data you can impute neighborhood rental vacancy rates using various geo-statistical methods. 

One of the limitations is part of the US, around 5% I think is the statistic, is ineligible.
