I know there are schools as well as I’ve researched, just would prefer to do the studying remotely and at my own pace.

I've spent the last seven years investing heavily back in to my company and it has grown, and continues to grow, at a quick, but manageable pace. 

Build a sub base and learn the pace they work at.

Had I thought that it was always a good time to buy and kept up my previous pace I probably would have been wiped out.That said, I don't think that today is 2005.
