I'm a little nervous since bank will ask for Financial Statements, Balance Sheet ect. and I haven't hired a bookkeeper or have an accountant as of yet.

We started a shared bank account and are on our way to setting up Wave as our book keeping software of choice.

QBO and REI Hub are both double-entry bookkeeping systems.

I just had a client get burned by a "Real estate specailized" bookkeeping firm because he was marketing himself as such- but reading his "about me" he had no formal tax/accounting background. 

Tax, bookkeeping, sorting receipts from a shoe box into a usable backup system, phone calls with questions, etc...[2] When will tax return be done--before due date or after due date.[3] Are there blackout times when question calls cannot be made.[4] Will you need to buy (pay for monthly) any software.Good Luck!

We manage over 500 doors and having rogue deposits into our rental account is a nightmare from accounting, bookkeeping, and efficiency perspectives.

I work for a local handyman doing his bookkeeping etc. we are now working with a client that is turning their home into an air bnb. his company is making ground changes, building camping areas, making beautiful landscape, etc. the client has asked me to be the property manager as they live far.

Some basic questions to ask yourself is how willing are you to be everything right now: customer service/maintenance/bookkeeping?

If this goes over your head, maybe it is time for a bookkeeper?
