Hello,We just finished remodeling a house in the twin cities and we have an inspection to rent it.The inspector said that we were not supposed to change the vanity and the outlet by ourselves.

Why would anyone put that much bathroom space in such a small unit? 

Someone took the little basket that holds soap and shampoo and the sign on the back of the toilet and placed them waaay in the back of the bathroom cabinet.Someone removed the tiny little LED lights I have on this 8 foot tall fake ficus in the kids bunk room and put in on the deck.

It is a ranch-style single-family home with three bedrooms and one bathroom, consisting of a first floor and a basement.

I am considering a 20 foot extension to my cabin - a new master suite with bathroom and fireplace, that would take me to around 2900 feet. 

@Benjamin SulkaThis one was mostly cosmetic: paint, carpet/floors, light fixtures, trim, landscape clean up, rodent remediation, bathroom vanities in the 1/2 baths, and some of the windows.Rehabbed one unit at the time aside from the windows.

This year, between tenants, I will be replacing the carpet with vinyl flooring, updating the bathroom vanity/lighting/mirror, and some other small updates such as changing out light fixtures, and faucets, and switching the old blinds from fresh curtains.

I've mainly looked at Home Depot/Lowes for flooring and larger items and got hardware like knobs, faucets from amazon/wayfair but curious to hear where you all get your materials fromAlso, need to get a double vanity for master bathroom, any recommendations?

The house is a 3/2 and has an ADU with a kitchen, and bathroom.

If the kitchen needs an upgrade or the bathrooms, or flooring then you could add value to the house and potentially cash out refinance or get a HELOC based on the new value and use that for more upgrades.
