The biggest factor I see now is the role of automation and artificial intelligence.

The assigned appraiser's software didn't support pennies, so the appraisal had the wrong sales price on it, which in turn meant the purchase price on the appraisal couldn't be made to line up with our software, which in turn (& absurdly) raised an automated fraud flag that had to be manually escalated as an "exception" bla bla bla.

Submetering costs really depends on what you want such as local company, automated reading, is your plumbing currently split to each unit or not, etc.

Now I’m not worried because o have automated online systems for rent collection, contractors and licensed repair professionals on speed dial, and I have some boots on the ground in the form of family who can lend their knowledge and keep an eye out for me.My first thought to this question is : if I’m worried that it may be too far ,then for me it may be too far.I could never do a flip that far away, IMO.
