@Mary Mitchell If they were that powerful, I’m sure they would have been all over the fact that the moratorium is unconstitutional and would have been active in either, gathering petitions, getting landlords to file a class action lawsuits or at the very least lobbying to put and end to this.

@Mary Mitchell Thanks for the feedback, the issue is that if they vacated as per lease they would be making an additional payment on 8/1 but instead they will not be paying for the month of August and that leaves my unit vacant for possibly the whole month.

No worries Mitchell, I would definitely speak with a lender to get the exact details, however I believe they give you around 60 days from closing to move into the property.
