There are several types of non-recourse loans, and depending on the bank the terms can vary tremendously.

As for investing, I'm looking to try to get some passive/supplemental income, hopefully to replace or reduce the money I need to make as lawyer, which is as you know a tremendous amount of work.  

A poor use of my time, but the equity payoff should be tremendous on the back end.  

This is a tremendous expense for our company and one that very few if any are willing to make at this level.

Westwood is the largest neighborhood in Cincinnati by a good margin.... so like you said... it gets written off as C-D class.... but there are tremendous pockets where people are renovating/fix ups.... as you said.... if someone dropped you on Epworth.... you wouldn't know you weren't in Hyde Park.
