When it comes to finding good wholesalers, a few approaches have worked well for me and others in the industry:1.Local Networking & Meetups:Check out local real estate investor associations and networking events in the Akron/Cleveland area.

Some credit unions or local banks offer portfolio loans that don’t stick to the 4-unit limit, which could work well here.

We have had work crews from a local lab and solar farm (separate bookings, obviously) for 3-8 weeks that rent the whole house in the offseason.

All are local except for one is a national brand auto supply store, using this for a warehouse. 

Also, about seeing a property in person:  I have found local real estate agents, who are willing to go out and take photos and email to you, for a modest fee.

Zillow, For Sale By Owner posts on facebook, your local newspaper, and craigslist.Wish you luck in your venture.

He is also no longer here locally and he left some belongings that i have in storage.
