Go for it,, plan on an extra fridge,,,, I rent out a house 6 brs to 6 guys.. biggest challenge is dishes, and taking the trash to the curb, they take it out but no one wants to take it to the curb, otherwise has gone pretty well.Chore chart helps, you don't want to be their maid, unless everyone chips in and hires one.Also parking,, assign a spot and stick to it.

You are totally right no need to dish out extra money.

If you give up the dishwasher, make sure to get a double sink instead of a single basin to make hand washing the dishes easier.
