My goal is to start learning and hope to buy my second (we own our current home) property within the year to start my real estate investment journeyI got interested in Real Estate investing because I want to be able to have a large family and give them everything they need (college tuition, family trips, emergency fund) and want to grow a portfolio with constant cash flow to allow for these things.

Greetings,I am a recent Civil Engineering college graduate, and I am looking for advice on how to secure funding.The deal is located in FloridaI am currently in process of purchasing the Land for $18k free and clearI will be building an 1100 SQ/FT home construction cost will be around $130,000What are some ways I can secure funding as a 21-year-old inspiring developer? 

One could say, Lehigh paid for my college education.

My family just shakes their heads, but they have all enjoyed the benefits of my efforts – travel, college, funds to purchase homes and etc.

I've been house hacking for about 3 years now in the immediate Orlando area (Maitland, and College Park) and appreciation has been very good to me. 

That's what college is for and I think everyone should go. 

We are nearing 50 years old and have kids that'll be going to college in 5-10 years, so it's hard to commit to a 30 year plan that locks up funds without having someone to help crunch the numbers for us.

Has anyone invested in college towns, Columbia, Missouri or Champaign, Illinois?

I also have experience managing remodels, contractors, subs etc and have even taken some community college trades courses (framing etc) so I have some basic trades knowledge.
