My first thought is to have an electrician go and take a look.  

One deals with just basic stuff like plumbing or odd jobs if I'm not available, the other does appliances and anything where I want a half decent job.Then you have your contractors, AC company, plumber, electrician.

That should keep me focused on my goals and might also provide some insight to others out there in a similar boat.A little about me:Currently an electrician apprentice in the Seattle area.Before that, in the Marines.

Without searching google, I wanted to know if anyone knew of any good Plumbers, Electrician, Roofers, Handyman.

This is a code violation and, according to our inspector (who is really awesome by the way), no electrician who we called to work on the panel would agree to either stand on the unit or perch above it in some wonky manner.  

But what ppl don't realize is that it takes a boatload of energy to take cold water and turn it hot in a flash, the equivalent of 9 AC compressors running on a hot day.This is why it's critical to have proper, expensive installation, b/c you're really taxing the electricity of the house.I'm in Miami, and quality electricians are in short supply.
