I'm self-employed, so I could try not deducting as much on my 2017 taxes to make it look like I have more income, but then I'd have a huge tax bill and wouldn't have as much for the downpayment.I'm going to be contacting portfolio lenders this week to ask about their requirements/rates, but in the meantime, I was wondering whether anybody has suggestions of conventional lenders who don't overlay Fannie regs here in Chicagoland.

A year has passed and the investor has filed a barment - foreclosure of redemption - and has taken ownership of the property this past week.

Hello BP, I just moved to the Tampa area a couple of weeks ago.

I’m not opposed to investing here as well but I’m more excited in vacation spots that can be rented out weekly or on Airbnb.

The only problem is, the recording date was 8/31/2017 and the auction date is 4/9/2018 - less than a week away.

. $160/week so the 2 bedroom is paying the same amount as the 3 bedrooms,the owner has included the garages and storage for free with all the tenants rents. looking in the area we are finding no 3 bedrooms available and 1 and 2 bedrooms renting for $750-1200/month with no washer N dryer hook ups and no storage.

I'm 2 weeks away from closing on our first house hack. 

He also does weekly training which is very informative.

  $400/month is the rent.  5 years ago a tenant moved out and we decided to make it a STR and charge $400/week.
