I contacted an agent about a low cost duplex, that was not in a great area (Glenville) but appeared to be fully remodeled and seemed like it could make a good rental.

Thanks for the reply Glenna, they are both built in the 1960s, these are the facts of both:$600k house - Built 1954, fairly well remodel inside from 2015, beautiful pool and good outdoor space. 

The entire interior was gutted and remodeled in 2013 and we still only paid $70k for it.

You can get credit for amount paid plus remodel costs if the appraisal has comparables in past three months.
