In Minneapolis, the tax credit expiration has been an extreme shock to the market.

I'm currently listening to an online seminar wit Bob Weidemeyer (who wrote After Shock) and Tom Hutchison (a wall street guy).

Of course this doesn't change anything regarding how much you are paying in taxes but I would be shocked if after deductions and other things if this number approached 28%.

With SFR, that is four roofs, four trip fees, four water heaters, and shockingly, more turnover (didn't expect that to happen).  

As a landlord, you risk burning out early or becoming a grouchy slumlord.It's kinda shocking, the real issue is knowing what not to do.

I don't want to overreact but at the same time, I am genuinely afraid of another federal level mandates like the COVID eviction moratorium (which I am still shocked could even be enforced as long as it was). 

To people from many other countries these institutions, normal in America, are shocking with the thought being "how could you just leave your elder family member in a facility full of strangers."  

I'm pleasantly surprised about the FHA's stance on that.
