Hi all,We’re looking for recommendations for a property manager in Brooklyn, in the Downtown/Brooklyn Heights/Cobble Hill area.

What do you recommend?

The volatility of the markets and constantly changing guidelines have been the largest pain points from what I see.  

My accountant recommended Quickbooks.

I'd recommend speaking with your tax advisor to discuss this further as what I said above may be outdated as I know the Inflation Reduction Act changed a lot of the energy credits for both individuals and businesses.

I will be using a property management company also so recommendations would be great!

I guess this adds even more confusion in that the second home requirements state renting it is fine as long as it follows the guidelines, not that it’s forbidden outright.  

I would recommend you continue doing what you know works.

You could also test them with questions like, do you have any attorneys you recommend that write redemption deeds.   

I have read a ton of the posts on here to pick up some recommendations and advice for managing class C/D properties but always open to more wisdom from my fellow investors!
