They'll cave pretty quick over a few grand on something like that since it costs them more to defend against it and they may lose even if they're legally right if you get a sympathetic jury.I HATE dealing with the city, sounds like they are like one around here, working against you instead of with you. 

For example, my bro is in HVAC, so we cut that price in half by using him, saves us at least 3 grand there (plus we order the unit through a modular home plant, and get the unit for about 500 dollars cheaper than us going directly to the wholesaler).

We can net 91 grand a year on one house?  

It does not matter if your soft skill is data manipulation, person to person networking, social media, people management, there are some universal talents that you can use to build invaluable relationships worth far more than one grand with only the cost of some sweat equity.
