The construction cost has been soaring in the last 3 years in the Bay area (I work in the corporate construction industry and our project management office is forecasting 10% escalation in all of the MEP trades in this year).

I have a backround in construction and have always wanted to try a flip.I live in Bergen County NJ and work in NYC in the finance industry, and I am looking expand and collaborate with like minded people.  

For the past few years I have been the onsite construction manager for a ground up residential construction developer in C.C.

I did 7 in 6 months and that was when there was on average only 5 or 6 listed while I worked 7-5 in construction.

If you want to create massive wealth wholesaling, flipping, new construction can do it for you.  

HiI was wondering if a pre-sale of a property, or selling shortly after it is constructed and move in ready, is subject to the same tax laws the same as a flip?
