@Juan BravoCheck out the people @Dennis Rodriguez mentions.If a bank won't be involved, make sure you do a title search ("Estudio de Titulo"), make sure property taxes are paid and I would get Title Insurance (just to be safe and it's cheap).I don't know about any specific problems/issues/concerns with the owner financing part.

If you have ever cut a blocked waste pipe and watched sh*t literally pour over a brand new $200 Milwaukee sawzall, you'll understand why I'm considering some cheap rubbish from HF for those sort of jobs.If it's an expensive tool, then I'll rent, eg floor sanders, excavators, etc.

Not sure if my state allows this, but in some states, I could put up a cheap fence and adjoin it to my property... pay the taxes for a few years... then file a quiet title suit claiming possession.
