I would like to know if it is better to sell to an investor (as-is), or try to make repairs to bring it up to market and sell to a potential buyer (to live-in) instead?

We need a third party to assist and the duplex is valued at over 1.3 million in zillow we don't think we can qualify.

Either myself or any investor from the LLC will get paid at market rates for doing any work at the property (management, paint, repairs, etc) and we will be paid as an individual, so yes 1099 would be appropriate.
