Do maintain your property and quickly fix stuff that’s a potential safety issue

LOL, without knowing the layout I would venture to say that they simply wanted to cut off heat or air to that vent in an effort to better regulate the room temp.

You might be able to file a complaint with the city for safety violations, but I would ask the landlord to fix it first.Again, my advice is to first come current with rent.

Yes, this was during the holidays of Christmas and New Year's so I wasn't expecting a miracle but after so many weeks and excuses, other things transpired and I decided it was time to cut my losses and move on.

I closed on a home with my brother in nearby Vacaville to cut my commute time and all of my expenses by about 60%.

Leasing the tavern out would cut my income down some but would also cut her existing expenses she cites out of my equation as those are business expenses.
