Even though you wont have the actual system it still acts as a deterrent for only a few bucks.  

Not that you are suggesting marble, but a renter will DESTROY marble in the first month. 

Unfortunately, on some structures the taller height destroys the aesthetics of the building.

Take it for whatever it's worth, but most of the time as long as rent is being paid and they are not destroying the place I have found it is generally easiest to ride it out and get someone better next time.
