Just test it with the Asset Manager...I told him that "I am incurring a lot of costs and time into this thing and need to be compensated or you need to lower the PP...what are your thoughts?"

This would lead me into the first investing 101 course which would be designed in such a way that their interaction is required (test maybe) and by their results you would know if they are going to be a waste of your time and theirs.
