Part of me thinks that owning a SFH in this area makes it so I have a product that has less supply and being in such a great area the demand won't be an issue. 

I don’t understand is how the price went up 10% during the pandemic, we can assume its demand and supply, but I felt its more of buyer’s willingness in a race (No rationale).

If you do decide to hold on to it and rent it, like @Donald E Appleberry mentioned, finding a tenant in the current market condition will not be a challenge, as there's a high demand for housing and lower supply from what I'm seeing.
