While at eviction court I advised them to look into the salvation army, the rescue mission and other non-profits who house the homeless as I knew this would be an uphill battle for them to find a legitimate new home but there is no vacancy in these establishments and they have been turned down by every landlord they have applied with.There are two non-profits willing to pay some of the rent to keep the renters in my unit and from becoming homeless and losing their children to foster care and CPS has inspected the unit with the 8 occupants and is allowing the living situation.
