Hi BP community,I have 2 lots in a hot neighborhood that I'm getting for 1k.The thing is (and there's always a thing when you're getting something for super cheap is, these 2 lots are directly across a street from a very unattractive substation or electrical station.I feel pretty confident that I'll be able to rent bc of the neighborhoods location and the surrounding the blocks have beautiful houses.My Questions Are:1- I'm trying to get comps so I can build on this land but how do you take into account this ugly structure, nothing on this block has sold recently.

But I come to the same road block of connecting.

It's still bad over there on certain blocks but it's not as bad as the news media says.

Property values there are all over the place, you can go from nice area to war zone in a few blocks.

Then you can try to look in the coming weeks and see how many dates are blocked out.

Everything anyone needs to know is readily available and with enough cash most road blocks to success are eliminated.Short cuts and get rich quick schemes are best left to the dreamers.

How do I get around these road blocks and talk to somone who makes deals for bank owned properties.  

The 1BR woman is a pain in the ***, and I want her rent up, and her out of the garage.

Coincidentally, I actually was in the area today showing condos in the Miraleste Pines development; I was surprised to see several 2 bedroom units on the market ($354k to $389k) in a development that is literally a half block from Palos Verdes.
