You could do a cash out refinance and rent it out while getting the cash out of the deal - but if you have zero reasons to keep (no cash flow or no appreciation), it may not make sense.

Finally, while on rare occasions real property does change hands a an extreme discount to market value, in the vast majority of the time a buyer, especially one without much experience thinks they’ve stump;ed across the “deal of the century”, they’ve mispriced the actual value because of something not readily apparent hasn’t been considered.

Sometimes I contact people with a question about their experience, and often they are happy to answer, but this doesn't create any momentum to build a relationship in the long run.I'm actually considering moving somewhere else where there are more opportunities (e.g. more REI meetups), but I'm not sure this will automatically solve the issue I described for the LinkedIn approach.
