I say that to say do not give up on your goals, keep going even if you reach temporary road block.  

I'm in the same situation looking for temporary removal during the holidays.

I was just reading yesterday that as far as fatalities and injuries on construction jobs, Roofers are #1, I think followed by concrete workers that are injured when ditches aren't shored up and they have a cave in.

The $700 rent is only temporary(if one year counts as temporary) to get the deal done.

They redid the drain tile, shored two walls and installed a sump pump on a cape cod I had in Bay View.

I am interested in exploring investments in rehab properties and fixer uppers in Manhattan, and multi-family properties along the Jersey Shore.  

It may just be temporary.

I work my numbers out differently as off shore investors look at net yield unlevered.But you can buy for 65K a house that will rent for $800 to $900 a month.
