I know the market is fast but would it hurt me to offer the full asking price as a back up for the seller?

Mayank S.From what you wrote unless the seller is willing to offer a price reduction (enough to cover repairs +) I Know I would pass .

What I have to offer in exchange for your time: I've been working as an electrician for a little over 8 years, I have experience in anything from small renovations to new builds be it custom homes or commercial work.  

Just talk to the seller and explain what you are trying to do , if you have to offer a little money to get someone to move, not a big deal.

A low equity home may be a candidate to offer as a lease with option to buy if you can re-qual for your next home.
