I lost money, hope you don't!

I had several inquiries who were interested until I told them what the taxes and HOA fees were, (About $1,700 per year). 

He has owned this property since 1999 and still owes money on the mortgage and we are interested in learning of a way to benefit the both of us instead of me using an owner occupied loan. 

I ask cause an architect costs money and Im not rich.

You need to know how much money is in your wallet before you start shopping.After you have figured out your finances, you should decide what you want to shop for.

We actually (legally) made more money on our property because of the fire!

But you're 100% right that insurance and taxes are absolutely crushing the Florida market.

I have been looking up a lot of properties in Northern Salt Lake County and Southern Davis County for a good move in and rent out other property and also a trailer to pay cash for to save money for down payment on a second place and etc.

But you will have to hold the property several years to get your money back, often with negative cash flow.
