It's a great way to get started.

LA didn't have as much of an upswing in home values over the last ten years compared to the other areas but I also don't want to buy at the top of the market (which is San Diego right now, although may be doubtful it decreases - some places up 110%).

To be honest am unsure where to start after buying raw commercial land.

I thought that was a good question so I am asking you all.Does anyone have a good idea as to how we get paid for setting this up and what structure needs to be in place for that to happen?

I'd like to invest back home in Ohio eventually (I lived in both Columbus and Dayton for about 5 years each), but I'm much more comfortable starting with something I can see regularly. 

The 1st month rent needs to then be paid 72 hours prior to lease start date.
