Is this pure investment or are you living in one side?

For 10+ years, I have been involved in commercial real estate business on the construction management and leasing side.

For me even that side income would be near life changing.

The Virginia side of the border that is essentially a no go, while DC and Montgomery County both allow it with certain conditions.

Admittedly, most of it would be on the lending or financial side,  but perhaps there is overlap or other information worth connecting on since it's definitely within our scope.Feel free to reach out directly.

Hello, I recently graduated with a degree in Finance and Real Estate which gave me a lot of experience as far as understanding the numbers, finance, and business side of real estate but I do not have much "hands on" experience as far as fixing appliances, home ownership (I've rented up until now), etc. 

The tree was on my rental property side and fell on car of the property manager of the apartment building next door (or so she says).

One side is their primary residence, the other side is a rental.
