Have you considered buying residential MFRs instead SFRs and taking advantage of economies of scale?

Our main objective is to allow syndicators to scale their operations and also look/act more professional and institutional. 

It really comes down to your risk tolerance, personal opinion and feelings aside if you are looking to scale the law of averages will likely not be on your side. 

I am now on my second assistant and my business has scaled incredibly.  

At this point, we had proven the concept, so we wanted to scale.

Question:  Do you either a.) research macro and then dive in looking for smaller markets/sub markets or b.) hit the ground first in the "hot market" and then find support on a larger scale ? 

Price is much lower to start and you can scale into multiple deals in a few years. 

Then scale quickly from there if it all goes well.
