Love the articles on rehabbing, cost cutting, out of state buying, best places to invest, and other such things.But while I find good tips and war stories I enjoy,  the areas of RE that I try to limit in my personal work  (wholesaling and distressed flips in particular) seem to make the headlines, and it's disappointing.  

I do inspections in Bakersfield and talking with buyers this past fall I was surprised how many we in bid wars over homes for sale.

In Canada we don't have war zones :) Home inspection went great (all new electrical, plumbing is good, Everything is by the book etc).

@Rob Donovan - the issues with land contracts are numerous.  

They likely also are paying dozens of vendors for repairs, as well as utility bills across numerous properties.

And believe me when I say I made that mistake numerous times before learning my lessongood luck
