If your can't close you loose the Your post says your in Chicago, so I assume your marketing to urban buyers.  

(btw: loosing a deal is not a failure - - you just got to learn cheaply on these)There's lots of procedures, rules and personal skills in investing and/or controlling property. 

The people who make loans for a living do it on a large scale over a lot of deals because it is a numbers game and you have to understand you are going to loose in some deals.I know you guys think it is easy in practice because you have either been doing it for a long time or you have never done it.

I don't currently have one but I think I'd like to add something to my lease. we did want to leave this unit out of service until Nov. 1 anyway to paint and spruce up as it's been fully occupied for 2 years, but if we had not planed on a "service month" we'd be loosing money this month.

Items include: loose door hinges, toilet handle loose, toilet bowl loose, one burner on oven was not working, small hole in hardwood in corner of floor behind fridge, bath tub drainage issue (slow clog, just needs to be snaked) water stain on ceiling with cracking plaster on ceiling. 

A great year is a year when they only loose a little....

The insurance .. and of coarse what is the appraised estimated value of the property after its fixed up and the stray cats are let loose from the cages in the basement !

You can move your career on and not loose the network investment you made to a platform after you have shifted your focus.Networks have value and some of the time the value in the future is something you can not anticipate in advance.

If I pass on my option, I loose the deposit.
