i like the like the idea of including 'do not sign this agreement if you do not understand it' on the lease in all of the same languages that the local state forms. i would be worried to 'just' include spanish or to ask the applicant what is their native language. the family being Hmong really drives the issue this topic is about because Hmong aren't a nationality per say; i can't think of any one national origin of Hmong peoples either as lots are out of China, but also other parts of Eurasia including Russia, Laos, etc as the were apparently a 'nomadic' nation perhaps like the Mongols?

Initially, I too wondered if the lack of a driveway might cause delays in finding tenants.While some applicants have mentioned they wished the houses had driveways, I can only think of 1 or 2 in 5+ years who have said that was a factor in not pursuing the rental.

Plus I started talking to worn out older landlords doing it the "old way".. showing every unit before they get an application, getting stood up by tenants (we use video walk thrus, and upload them to our page, we require an online application filled out and approved before we take the time to meet with them and show a place).
