I’m looking to get started into real estate in Sacramento, CA with a 1-4 unit with an FHA but since I don’t have a ton of assets under my name or a particularly long credit history and the area is higher cost of living, I need to be able to qualify for a large loan (ideally $350k-600k).

Ideally I'd love to have a great cash flowing triplex or quadplex property in the $200k-$450k range.

Virtually every buyer goes through the process of fine tuning what their ideal investment is once they start touring properties.

In an ideal situation, you would house hack and then invest.

Ideally use the same title company for sale and purchase to limit the number of parties involved.Also be aware that an exchange transfers basis from the old property to the new property.
