Hello BP nation,I have a situation and looking for some guidance and help.I've purchased my first duplex last April/May, with intentions to house hack.  

-Buy a duplex/triplex/quadplex etc, live in one side and rent the other units out.There are tons of possibilities here, these are just a few ideas. 

My partner and I are looking at a duplex with a separate 1 bedroom 1 bath house for sale also so 3 units.

I want to see how much I qualify for so that I can get it into my first duplex. 

I am working on a deal with a partner to build a duplex where the equity is split 50/50, basically he gets one unit and I get one unit. lets just say for simplicity that we can built it for $100,000 and have no note on it.

At one point we were offered equity in the subsequent fix-and-flip, and the broker said he predicted that after converting the two units to condos, they should sell for 700K each, so 1.4M. 

One thing you guys should pursue is a duplex-quadplex investing as this will give far greater Return on investment.

The 2 bedroom condo with the same layout was sold for 650k.

The bottom floor would be a duplexed unit with a basement.
