The complaints were size (it is a small unit but that is indicated in the listing (it is even called Jamaica beach cottage)), bunk beds (shown in the pictures but not ideal for the guest’s adult children), no dishwasher (like the OP, there is no room for a dishwasher and it is not listed as having one).  

They come and go so never depend on them to help manage a property....major mistake.S8 is a handful at the best of times, it is akin to babysitting small children only more destructive.

And in ten years or so, if you find the need to want to go back to school, it will be that much more difficult if you are married with children and a position that would not allow you to go back to school.  

If you plan on leaving a tax free legacy for your children it’s the best way to do it.

They are an older couple that owns multiple duplexes, and planned on passing down their properties to their children once they passed. 

Do they typically have a rent amount limit they will pay for their women/children? 

Know your broker well, enough to know their children's names.

There's also google, amazon, intel, nationwide children's hospital, and many new start ups.

He is attracted to this idea because it essentially guarantees cash flow into the future, and also allows for more appreciation and the potential to leave the home in his children's name to start to build generational wealth.I am helping him with this, and frankly I think the cash-out refi then rent makes a lot of sense.

Can you start off renting the property to house the children, then purchase the home, is this allowed?
