The numbers may not be the same but that's the general idea.The other idea I had was having the monthly fee be lower in terms of % of rent, but then giving them a slice of the cashflow of the place... this way it's almost like they are a partner in the business and have lots of skin in the gameThanks!

im not an expert but i have looked into this before. while the requirements arent super clear, seems there is something about you must "sleep there" for so many days a year, i want to say like 10 or 11 months. that being said, if you make it your legal residence, to include mailing address, etc, and dont rent it out long term, i dont think you would have any issue. its not different than buying a personal residence then traveling for work 200 days a year (which i did).

Like I said though, most come in about half that, so use $5k to negotiate and even if you get a 50% concession you could still potentially get it all paid for by the seller.I can run any addresses through the database for you and see if they've been inspected or deleaded for you.
