Well, that's certainly one perspective.Here's another: We work damn hard to set up relationships with our vendors for just about everything (Cabinetry, lumber, trim, finish parts)... we make good margin off those relationships.

When a vendor provides work it is checked before payment. if not done well, it's not paid until fixed.
