I'm in the process of Renovation and it's been a bit slow going due to contractor being backed up.

Some negative factors:-all that’s been mentioned about risks with townhome HOA’s-having 90+ units mostly the same can slow down appreciation dramatically.

That's pretty strong evidence they created a fantasy to escape your lease and no-pet policy.My response would be simple:Dear Tenant,You failed to provide any evidence of an unsafe situation in the home.
