For me the most logical step was to roll-over the ones that I could into a 401k that I had more control over and that had more depth and breadth of investment selections than just the standard mutual funds and bond funds.

Take a trip over to the HOA management office and ask for a copy of the budget also, look up the HOA at the corporation commission's website, they may be required to publish budgets with their annual report.

I usually go to the county auditor's website for my area to find the history, sales prices and ect on the property I'm looking at with accuracy and success, but the one thing I can't get a very accurate idea is rental comps.I know the general rental rates are in my area, but how do I best determine them if I don't know what someone down the street is paying, or someone a few blocks over?
