Hi Kati - If I were in your shoes I would wait until the job is at least started and you have a committed end date from the plumber before advertising the property.

Fences are very easily cut, of provide a barrier to hide behind while the crime is being committed.

So they guarantee the tenant for 2 years while also having the commitment to the rent increase. 

I finally decided to commit myself to investing in an out-of-state property and have been researching the Indy market.

I do not recommend committing mortgage fraud. 

They would have to commit fraud to get kicked out of the program.  

I hear mostly manager horror stories, and after spending 30 years building this don't want to see it destroyed by a bad move.Some thoughts i have tossed around - retiring from the military. i love serving but it is a commitment.

However, always be aware of your prior commitments of owner occupancy for 1 year on your current loan.
