However, I also see it as an opportunity to potentially pass on risk (maintenance/upkeep/repairs) to an Airbnb host, assuming insurance coverages work out, and/or ask for a premium on top of what I listed the unit for.

I try to not let a property get vacant or if it happens then I pay to remove the unit then re-install.

When the contract began in 2023 we were able to stay in 1/2 of that property and listed the other unit on Furnished Finder (unfortunately, no one actually rented the other unit).
