It's a domino effect with all these companies taking a hit, laying off employees, cutting hours, etc.

Good info from the others I want expand on the online bidding part.You really should go into this knowing your MAO (max allowable offer) I cannot prove it but truly believe you are bidding against robots or employees of the auction site.

We had already been making a point to discuss hygiene and travel, in addition to requiring employees who had visited certain parts of the country to self-quarantine.

This one is a tough nut to crack.  

Business close, can’t afford to reopen when things get better, employee loses job, employee can’t afford to travel etc.

It's a tough situation to be in.
