I was actually downtown last night going to the theater and walked past a new construction condo building selling 1 bedroom 850 sq foot units for $350kFYI - My brother bought a 2 bedroom condo in Jamaica Plain outside Boston a few years ago. 

I have a duplex and single family home in Racine area, also 2 four bedroom and a warehouse with business /tenant. 

So I am looking at getting a duplex for my first rental property (living in one unit and renting the other).

Hello BP nation,I have a situation and looking for some guidance and help.I've purchased my first duplex last April/May, with intentions to house hack.  

-Buy a duplex/triplex/quadplex etc, live in one side and rent the other units out.There are tons of possibilities here, these are just a few ideas. 

My partner and I are looking at a duplex with a separate 1 bedroom 1 bath house for sale also so 3 units.

I want to see how much I qualify for so that I can get it into my first duplex.
