If this has any possibility of hitting the house or doing any property damage then hire a lic/insured company and they will likely not give a discount for firewood.

I am currently going to begin rehabbing the property(about $10k in renovations to the kitchen and bathrooms) and will either be house hacking the other rooms or short-term renting the property due to its prime location being about 5 min from Disney.

Even if you don't 'need' to leverage, each deal should be evaluated case by case.I will still utilize debt when cash doesn't help get a discount or help acquire a new property that doesn't check all the lending boxes.

What had been removed was the range, the living room ceiling light, the bathroom sink and faucet, all the light bulbs out of the ceiling fan, etc etc.
