If the economy is doing poorly, then more individual households will be struggling financially and looking for ways to sell before going into foreclosure. 

Additionally, as agents if you could pick the perfect investor to work with on a continual basis what are the things that would make them appealing to you and make you just want to keep coming back to work with that individual as much as possible?  

I am considering selling the rental cabins individually and retaining the house. 

I would start looking at your network and explore where you can grow in this area with likeminded individuals.

@Marshall Shen On a single family house, unless you are renting individual rooms you won't have utility expenses. 

For example, the way NH does things,  pre TCJA it was more expensive for a high income tax individual to pay out profits as a dividend from their SCorp, than it was to just pay the employment taxes and pay it out as wages.

I am very aware of prohibited transactions and disqualified individuals.
